The Infamous Guest List

“Okay I click on E2 … then E38 …. and hit ‘add sum’… 67. Alright, not bad. Now for Jason’s family… E39 …. E105…. add sum… 100. Yikes. Now for our mutual list…. E 106…. E 148… 87. So the grand total would be… 254?!”

I hate Excel, mainly because I’m inept at working in it. When I added the totals together to get our guest list estimate and come up with that very large number, I hoped I added it wrong. Nope, added it right; we just know way more people than I thought. This wouldn’t be an issue if we choose a reception hall with no space limitations. However, the Tremont can only hold 210 comfortably (220 uncomfortably), so this guest list is going to be a little tricker than I had anticipated.

Hopefully everyone can get a decent number. I figure 260 is the total max we can invite without fear of going over our 220 mark. If that’s spread out equally, that means my parents get 100, Jason’s parents get 100, and the two of us together only get 60…. Yeah, I’m not a fan of that all.
